About you: We are seeking eight motivated, well-organised and detail-oriented Data Quality Interns to work with our Data Quality team and colleagues within divisions such as Hospitality, Legal, and Health and Social Care to improve our account data quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for using internal and internet sources to clean and enrich datasets about customers, which may be companies, charities or outlets. These roles are ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in data management and analysis. Day-to-day, you will: • Data Discovery: Identify useful internal company and external internet sources of data related to customer and prospect accounts. • Data Cleaning: Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in datasets. • Data Enrichment: Enhance datasets by adding missing information and verifying existing data. • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of data sources and cleaning processes. • Collaboration: Work closely with the Commercial Data Manager and other team members to ensure data quality and integrity. • Data Quality Analysis: Assist in analysing data quality before, during and after cleaning and enrichment process. • Reporting: Prepare reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders. As a well-rounded Data Quality Intern your Skills and Experiences likely include: • Candidate must be available for the full 6-month period • Internship start date : July 2025 intake • Current enrolment or graduate of a degree programme with a substantial quantitative, data and computing component, including but not restricted to computing, mathematics, statistics, bioinformatics or engineering. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. • Familiarity with code-based data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) is a plus Essential Criteria: • Technical Skills: Recent experience with Microsoft Excel and careful file management. • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to identifying and correcting data errors. • Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational skills and methodical working habits. • Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills. • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members. • Self-Motivation: Proactive and able to work independently with good judgement on when to request clarification on work. • Adaptability: Willingness to learn new tools and techniques as needed. • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated curiosity about and ability to solve data-related problems.
