Officially established in 2019, ACO Tech is joint venture company between Proton Edar Sdn Bhd, Altel Communications, as well as ECARX Hubei Technology – aimed to provide a better driving experience for our customers through digital connectivity. We believe that by bridging the gap between the driver’s personal space and independent mobility, we will be able to deliver intelligent and connected lifestyle solutions that fit seamlessly into the drivers’ personal space.

Moving at a progressive pace, we are constantly pushing the envelope by developing new connected car applications that provide innovative driving experiences and shaping the urban lifestyle through innovative connected car applications and solutions; intelligent driving HD map, big data, and IoT cloud. Our goal is to continuously improve and enhance our products and solutions to enhance users driving experiences. Our current software, the GKUI, has been a major part in selected Proton variants and models namely X70, X50, Iriz, and Persona. It is the first localised connected car technology in Malaysia and we will continue to strive further in the near future.
