JOB SCOPE
Quality Control
- Ensure the quality assurance team carry out quality assessment measures of all the products ready to be shipped and incoming raw materials.
- Take a thorough look at the plans, specifications, and blueprints to understand the product requirements.
- Reject all the incoming raw materials fail to meet quality expectations and report the issue to the related PIC.
- Resolving quality-related issues adhering to deadlines.
- Prepare documentation of the inspection process, which includes detailed reports and performance records.
- Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards.
- Guide the production team about the quality control issues to enhance the quality of the product.
- Providing training to the quality assurance team.
- Design an efficient design protocol that can be used across all domain.
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels.
- Monitor the production phase at various levels.
- To comply and enforce the compliances of the available SOP/ ISO 9001/ ISO 14001 & etc.
- To ensure the internal and external audit successfully.
- To ensure documentation of the required recording, reporting and filling.
Health, Safety, and Environment
- Supporting the development of safety policies and programs.
- Interact with local authorities and client to ensure compliances with various legal and other requirements.
- Provide new-employee health and safety orientations and develop materials for these presentations.
- Plan, propose, produce, implement, enforce and review the HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) system for the manufacturing plant so as to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
- Ensure that the hazards, unsafe act, and unsafe conditions are highlighted and rectified.
- Investigate and review any accidents, near miss, dangerous occurrence or occupational disease and report to DOSH in accordance to OSH latest Regulation.
- Collect, analyze and maintain records of any amendments or new laws/regulations in relation to HSE and advise management of any action or measure to be taken as well as communicating this information to all employees.
- Be the point of contact with regulating bodies such as DOSH, DOE and BOMBA.
- Deliver all HSE education and training & Conduct Emergency Response Program Training.
- Monthly update the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) stock list, raise purchase request for PPE procurement, ensure adequate PPE at workplace.
- To promote safety awareness to all employees, and the responsibilities of all employees towards safety.
- Conduct safety health and environmental training to increase the awareness pf personnel.
- Conduct accident/incident investigation and work with management to prepare comprehensive recommendation active to eliminate or minimize future recurrences.
- Daily safety line walks by patrolling the work site to identified hazards and unsafe practice and/or condition.
- Conduct audits at hazardous waste sites or industrial sites or participate in hazardous waste site investigations.
- To ensure the internal and external audit successfully.
- Ensuring that all security, safety and health aspects including its rules & regulations are well enforced and adhered to at all times.
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma and above.
- At least 2 years of working experience in the QC/HSE is required for this position.
- Experience of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- Basic knowledge in safety, health and environment-related information technology experience would be essential.
