Responsible for ensuring products meet established quality standards and specifications in a timely manner. Monitoring quality aspects of materials, components and finished products, conducting thorough inspection, utilizing precision measuring equipment, implementing quality assurance, resolving quality-related issues and maintaining accurate records of inspection outcome to meet specified quality standard

JOB DESCRIPTION
Quality Control

• Perform detailed inspections of materials, components and finished products to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards
• Perform inspections at various stages of fabrication process to identify and address quality issues promptly
• Utilize precision measuring equipment and visual inspections to verify product dimensions, weld quality and overall conformity to design specifications
• Investigate and analyze the root causes of quality issues, collaborating with relevant teams to implement corrective and preventive actions
• Verify and maintain accuracy of the measuring instruments, equipment and machines used, ensuring accuracy and consistency measurements results
• Ensure product adhere to customer specifications, industry standards, regulatory requirements and company quality policies
• Implement and enforce quality assurance procedures to maintain high-quality standards throughout the production process

Team Coordination & Communication

• Work closely with production teams to address quality concerns and provide feedback for process improvement
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Implement best practices to enhance overall quality control processes in fabrication
• Address and resolve customer issues or concerns in collaboration with the manager, project engineer and quality team
• Implement and execute organization management system procedures
• May be assigned to perform other duties at a lower level or higher level of proficiency

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent ; additional education or certification is advantageous
• Proven experience in quality control or related role
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Knowledge of quality control and tools
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Possess any relevant professional certifications
• Required language(s) : Bahasa Malaysia, English
