We will equip you with the critical skills, tools and technology, and endless opportunities to learn, contribute and thrive in a dynamic and exciting environment.If you want to shape a brighter future at AIA Digital+, please read on.About the Role• Providing BAU support for Group Application Data Platform • Support, maintain and monitor data pipeline under Group Application Data Platform against SLAs as agreed with various business stakeholders.Key responsibilities<ul><li>Responsible for data pipeline management which including developing, maintaining, testing and optimizing the data pipelines.</li><li>Able to work with data reporting tools such as PowerBI and Alteryx if needed.</li><li>Analyze and troubleshooting issues related to staging, orchestration and transformation for data models under Group Application Data Platform.</li><li>Monitor the performance of data pipeline management (including staging. Orchestration and transformation) and optimize resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and high availability.<ul><li>Support, maintain and monitor data pipeline management against SLAs.</li><li>Ensure data pipeline operates under appropriate parameters.</li><li>Resolve operational problems related to data availability/refresh for users reporting timeline.</li></ul></li><li>&nbsp;Ability to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise as reported by users.</li><li>May require standby and work during weekend to meet the critical business reporting timeline and/or data needs</li></ul>Support / Standardize<ul><li>Ensure that existing guidelines, standards and best practices are followed and applied to development projects</li><li>Take ownership for issues to reach resolutions to prevent recurrences</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve production issues under tight deadlines</li><li>Proactively identify the impact of potential process changes, integrate new initiatives with existing processes, and ensure that all processes are consistent and fit together.</li><li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managements, business users, expertise from other technical areas, and peers</li><li>Able to work independently and strong problem-solving skill.</li></ul>Job requirement:Education:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in IT or other relevant discipline.</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>5+ years IT work experience in a relevant role e.g. Data Analyst , Data Scientist, Data Architect and/or Data Engineer.</li><li>Tertiary qualification in ANY of the following:</li><li>Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or Maths/Statistical</li></ul>Technical skills.<ul><li>Basis Azure Cloud experience is a mandatory requirement</li><li>Solid understanding and some practical experience in:<ul><li>Object-oriented programming languages, like Python, Java, and Scala.</li><li>Advanced SQL skills and relational database management.</li><li>Big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).</li><li>Data modelling, ETL and Data Warehousing.</li><li>Data Analytics tools such as PowerBI and Alteryx.</li></ul></li><li>Basic cloud computing certifications/licenses – Azure certification could be an advantage.</li></ul>Soft Skills<ul><li>Excellent language and visual skills for producing well-structured technical documentation and operational procedures in English</li><li>Able to communicate English.</li><li>Knowledge on ITIL processes</li><li>Strong customer focus with excellent client engagement, verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to innovate under pressure, analyze complex problems and find solutions.&nbsp;</li></ul>Build a career with us as we help our customers and the community live healthier, longer, better lives.You must provide all requested information, including Personal Data, to be considered for this career opportunity.
