Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Product Managers to shape the product vision and support the development of a clear, value driven product roadmap.
• Collect, assess, and prioritise customer requirements, serving as the primary customer voice; define business and functional requirements as user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Break down product features into incremental deliverables and balance short term sprint goals with longer term product vision.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure customer centric user experience and usability are embedded in delivered features.
• Collaborate with architects and the engineering squad to discuss implementation options and ensure efficient and timely delivery, based on a solid understanding of the platform technology stack.
• Define, maintain, and prioritise the product backlog; refine backlog items with the engineering squad using Scrum methodology and agree on acceptance criteria.
• Work with other Product Owners to ensure end to end integration across the overall solution landscape.
• Take responsibility for product release management, including planning scope and timelines for releases.
• Coordinate quality management activities, including functional reviews and acceptance testing, ensuring customer facing features meet requirements and expectations.
• Coordinate post production support activities, including prioritisation and management of bug fixes, incident analysis, and handling customer support requests.
• Take ownership of requirements and functional documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, configuration documentation, and related documentation.
• Serve as the customer voice throughout development and acceptance testing, working closely with Product Managers, UX/UI designers, architects, and the engineering squad to ensure delivered solutions provide measurable customer and business value.

Requirements

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a Product Owner / Product Management role or in SaaS software development.
• Solid experience in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements documentation.
• Strong understanding of agile software development processes, with hands on experience working in Scrum methodology.
• Ability to balance short term sprint goals with longer term product vision.
• Good understanding of UX/UI principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with UX/UI designers.
• Outstanding cross team communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in English, including experience working with international and distributed teams.
• Strong team player with a proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and a “can do” attitude.

Optional / Nice to Have

• Subject matter knowledge in areas such as search, workflow, collaboration, reporting, data migrations, or translation services.
• External facing account or customer management experience.
• Knowledge or experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or other scaled agile approaches.
• Deeper technical understanding of platform architectures to support discussions with engineering teams.
