Job Description

 The intern will support the planning and execution of communications initiatives aimed at enhancing the Asian Banking School's (ABS) brand visibility, stakeholder engagement, and institutional profile. This role provides hands-on exposure to corporate communications, public relations, content development, and event coordination within a professional environment connected to the banking and financial services industry.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Assist in drafting short written content such as social media posts, profiles, announcements, and press materials
• Support the preparation of event materials, including presentation slides, programme brochures and write-ups.
• Assist in the planning and coordination of corporate events and conferences
• Help manage and organise branding and marketing collaterals
• Monitor media coverage and social media engagement related to ABS activities
• Provide support in coordinating communications with partners, stakeholders, and vendors
• Provide general administrative and logistical support to the Strategy & Corporate Communications team

Job Requirements

• Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Business, or a related field
• Strong written and spoken English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage
• Good interpersonal, organisational, and time-management skills
• Proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn in a professional environment
• Basic familiarity with Canva, PowerPoint, social media platforms, and Al tools is an advantage
