Job Purpose:
To support the bank’s day-to-day operational and documentation activities by ensuring accurate processing, verification, and maintenance of banking transactions and records in compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and service quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Operational Support</li>
</ol>
<ul>
<li>Process daily banking transactions including account opening, fund transfers, remittances, deposits, and withdrawals in an accurate and timely manner.</li>
<li>Ensure proper authorization and verification of all operational activities in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).</li>
<li>Assist in end-of-day reconciliation, balancing, and reporting activities.</li>
<li>Monitor operational workflows to ensure efficiency and compliance with service-level timelines. &nbsp;</li>
</ul>
<ol>
<li>Documentation Management</li>
</ol>
<ul>
<li>Prepare, verify, and maintain all operational and customer-related documentation (e.g., account forms, loan documents, trade finance papers).</li>
<li>Ensure all documents are complete, valid, and compliant with internal and regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Maintain proper filing, indexing, and archiving of physical and digital documents for easy retrieval and audit readiness.</li>
<li>Liaise with relevant departments (Compliance, Legal, Credit, etc.) for document verification and approval. &nbsp;</li>
</ul>
<ol>
<li>Compliance and Risk Management</li>
</ol>
<ul>
<li>Adhere strictly to the bank’s internal controls, compliance policies, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., AMLA, BNM, and internal audit standards).</li>
<li>Report any discrepancies, irregularities, or operational risks to the superior immediately.</li>
<li>Support internal and external audit processes by providing relevant documentation and clarification. &nbsp;</li>
</ul>

<li>Customer Service</li>
</ol>
<ul>
<li>Deliver prompt and professional service to both internal and external customers.</li>
<li>Handle customer documentation queries and ensure timely resolution.</li>
<li>Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement in operations and documentation handling. &nbsp;</li>
</ul>
<ol>
<li>Other Duties</li>
</ol>
<ul>
<li>Participate in process improvement initiatives and system enhancements related to operations and documentation.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to time. &nbsp;</li>
