Contract Associate, Actuarial – System Support
Location: Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur
Contract Duration: Until 30 June 2025 (extendable)
Salary: Up to RM3,200/month

Are you a detail-oriented problem solver with a knack for numbers and systems? We’re looking for a Contract Associate (Actuarial – System Support) to join our team and play a key role in ensuring smooth and accurate testing for actuarial products within our Product Factory.

What You’ll Do

• Support end-to-end product testing in the Product Factory and ensure deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.
• Collaborate closely with Actuarial Pricing and IT teams to troubleshoot issues and resolve testing defects.
• Track and ensure timely completion of all test cases and milestones.
• Handle calculation requests from other business users.
• Assist with ad-hoc actuarial and system-related tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
   

Who You Are

• A Degree holder in Statistics, Mathematics, or Actuarial Studies (Honours preferred).
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and solving issues.
• Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities.
• Equipped with strong communication and collaboration skills — both written and verbal.
• A team player who enjoys working with both technical and business stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Actuarial Studies (Honours preferred).
• Experience: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; experience in actuarial or system testing is an advantage.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of numerical calculations and testing processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with data or calculation tools.
• Soft Skills:
• Detail-oriented, efficient, and self-motivated.
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration.
• Organized and proactive in troubleshooting and coordinating with stakeholders.
