Job Description

For Barista 

•  Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages — including coffee, tea, artisan, and specialty drinks — according to KÖSA’s recipes and presentation standards.
  • Clean and sanitize workstations, seating areas, utensils, and equipment to maintain hygiene at all times.
  • Manage and arrange stock, ensuring proper organization and replenishment.
  • Greet every customer warmly and create meaningful connections.
  • Describe menu items, answer questions, and recommend products based on customer preferences.
  • Receive and process customer payments accurately.
  • Ensure a consistently high standard of service and overall customer experience.

For Supervisor 

•  Lead daily café operations to ensure smooth workflow and consistent service quality across all shifts.
  • Supervise and support team members, providing guidance, coaching, and on-ground problem-solving when needed.
  • Oversee beverage and food preparation to maintain KÖSA’s recipe, quality, and presentation standards.
  • Monitor cleanliness and hygiene of the outlet, ensuring all work areas, equipment, and customer spaces are well-maintained.
  • Manage inventory levels, stock arrangement, and daily stock counts, reporting shortages or wastage.
  • Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in staff scheduling, shift planning, and attendance management.
  • Conduct onboarding and basic training for new team members; support ongoing skill improvement for existing staff.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety guidelines, and operational checklists.
  • Oversee cash handling, daily sales settlement, and POS accuracy.
  • Support outlet opening, closing procedures, and operational readiness.
  • Coordinate with Operations Manager and other departments (Central Kitchen, Marketing, HR) to ensure smooth cross-outlet execution.

Job Requirements

( For Barista ) 

•  Fully vaccinated with at least 2 doses.
  • Possess at least a Secondary School/SPM qualification in any field.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; energetic, positive, and eager to learn.
  • Preferably with own transport.
  • No barista experience required — training will be provided.

( For Supervisor ) 

•  Fully vaccinated with at least 2 doses.
  • Possess a Secondary School/SPM qualification or higher (Diploma is an advantage).
  • Strong command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in F&B or retail; supervisory or team-lead experience is an added advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills — able to lead, motivate, and support the team.
  • Energetic, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
  • Preferably with own transport and able to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Willing to learn, adapt, and uphold KÖSA’s standards of service, quality, and hygiene.
