<p>This is an exciting opportunity to join the legal team at Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a leading provider of imaging and business solutions. As a Sole Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting the company's legal operations and providing strategic advice to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. Reports to local CEO and Regional General Counsel. </p>
<p>This is a full-time position based in Glenmarie, Selangor.</p>
<p><strong>What you'll be doing</strong></p>
<ol>
<li>Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts and legal agreements</li>
<li>Providing legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on various corporate and commercial matters</li>
<li>Assisting with legal research and analysis to support business initiatives</li>
<li>Monitoring and ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and internal policies</li>
<li>Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address legal risks</li>
<li>Staying up to date with changes in the legal landscape and industry regulations</li>
<li>Contributing to the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures</li>
</ol>
