The Role:

Are you a proactive HSE leader with a passion for creating safe and compliant environments? CBRE is seeking a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager to join our team and drive HSE excellence for a leading global innovator known for its diverse products and commitment to improving lives. This is your opportunity to take ownership, lead the way, and shape HSE strategies and programs.

A typical day may involve:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive HSE programs tailored to the needs of this leading global innovator. This includes creating and maintaining programs, procedures, and playbooks.
  • Promoting a positive and proactive safety culture, influencing stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Identifying, assessing, and managing operational and safety risks to prevent incidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Monitoring regulatory compliance, tracking injury/illness reports, and providing recommendations to improve safety performance.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to identify concerns, communicate findings, and implement effective solutions.
  • Modeling CBRE's RISE values and inspiring others to embrace a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Be prepared to roll up your sleeves and actively contribute to the implementation and management of HSE programs.
  • Managing initiatives to meet regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental regulatory compliance within the account.
  • Tracking operational and safety risks.
  • Working with management to create strategic solutions that improve and maintain compliance as required.
Requirements:
  •  >8 years of relevant HSE experience (or a combination of experience and education).
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Additional certifications as required by the local authority.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
