Join Our Team as a Safety and Health Officer!

Are you passionate about workplace safety and ensuring a healthy environment for all? We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Safety and Health Officer to ensure safety standards and compliance at our organization!

Job Description:

1. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and industry standards. 
2.  Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and take appropriate corrective actions. 
3. Train employees and contractors on safety protocols and provide ongoing safety awareness programs. 
4.  Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and provide recommendations for preventive measures. 
5. Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure safety measures are implemented at all stages of construction projects. 
6. Keep up-to-date with new safety regulations, standards, and best practices, and ensure compliance. 
7. Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents, inspections, and training activities. 
8. Conduct safety audits and prepare reports with recommendations for improving safety performance. 
9. Collaborate with external agencies and authorities for safety-related matters when required. 
10. Promote a safety culture by organizing safety campaigns, toolbox talks, and other initiatives. 

Job Requirements

Job Requirements : 

1. Certified Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with relevant qualification (Greenbook Holder)
2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety and Health Officer in the construction industry. 
3. Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and industry best practices. 
4. Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential safety risks.
5.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills. 
6. Proficiency in relevant safety software and tools. 
7. Fluent in both written and spoken English and Malay.

Work Location : Johor

Working Hours : 8:00a.m. - 5:00p.m. 

Working Days : Monday - Saturday
