As a Server, you will provide impeccable customer service to our guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience that aligns with the high standards of the restaurant. You will work closely with kitchen staff, sommeliers, and the front-of-house team to offer personalized service, attentive care, and knowledge of our menu offerings. Your expertise in food, wine, and hospitality will elevate the guest experience and maintain the restaurant’s reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service:

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Take orders and offer recommendations based on guests' preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages, checking in with guests throughout the meal to ensure satisfaction.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly to any requests or concerns.

• Accurately record food and beverage orders using the restaurant’s POS system.
• Communicate with kitchen staff and baristas/bartenders to ensure all orders are correct and timely.
• Ensure that orders are delivered in a manner that meets the restaurant's quality standards (correct temperature, presentation, etc.).

• Set and clear tables in accordance with restaurant standards.
• Ensure all table settings are clean, polished, and properly arranged for each guest.

• Build rapport with guests, making them feel welcome and valued throughout their visit.
• Provide attentive service, making recommendations and answering any questions about the menu or restaurant offerings.
• Handle complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.

• Utilize knowledge of the menu to upsell additional items, such as appetizers, side dishes, or dessert.
• Promote special events, offers, or seasonal menu items to increase sales and customer satisfaction.

• Maintain a clean and organized work station, ensuring the dining area is presentable at all times.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations, ensuring a clean environment for guests and staff.

• Handle guest complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly, escalating to management when necessary.
• Ensure that any problems or concerns are addressed to the satisfaction of the guest, preserving the restaurant’s reputation.

Job Requirements

  Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (a degree in hospitality, restaurant management, or related fields is a plus).
• Experience: Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant is preferred.
• Skills:
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attentive, with the ability to anticipate guests' needs before they ask.
• Ability to memorize menu items and wine lists, as well as special dietary restrictions.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
