Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to provide leadership and oversight for operations across its core facilities and multiple service locations.

The position requires strong planning capabilities, sound leadership, and a commitment to upholding service quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the day-to-day operations at HQ and other multiple service locations and to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Supervise and guide the operations team including Customer Ambassadors, Senior Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Operation Assistants.
  • Oversee operational activities at corporate customer sites and ensure adequate manpower allocation based on operational requirements.
  • Plan and manage manpower and resources efficiently to meet service and operational needs.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ports and vehicle storage yards to oversee finished vehicle logistics activities including quality control checks, incoming vehicle inspections, maintenance, storage management, and preparation processes in line with operational standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with company SOPs, customer SOPs, and ISO9001:2015 standards, while identifying and reporting any areas requiring revision or enhancement.
  • Set clear goals, performance targets, and KPIs for the operations team and monitor their progress.
  • Work closely with relevant departments within the Giga Group to support system implementation and operational integration.
  • Oversee operational processes related to vehicle import, export, and delivery services, ensuring adherence to established procedures.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management review, including attendance, service output, incident reports, investigations, and stock updates.
  • Assist the General Manager in marketing-related activities and operational initiatives.
  • Conduct training for new and existing staff to maintain service and operational standards.
  • Review, address, and follow up on customer feedback, with a focus on service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain professional communication and working relationships with corporate clients.
  • Make operational decisions on-site when required and update the General Manager accordingly.

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or Degree in Management or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in operations and managerial roles (IN AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY) is mandatory.
  • Experience handling multi-site operations is required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to manage teams effectively and work in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.
