Job Description

<li>General Ledger Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts, ensuring all journal entries are properly recorded.</li>
<li>Month-End &amp; Year-End Closing: Prepare and review closing entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules to ensure timely closing.</li>
<li>Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with MFRS.</li>
<li>Regulatory &amp; Audit Compliance: Coordinate with external auditors for statutory audits and ensure compliance with Bursa Malaysia reporting requirements.</li>
<li>Tax &amp; Statutory Compliance: Support tax filings, SST submissions, and liaise with tax consultants for compliance matters.</li>
<li>Fixed Asset Management: Maintain fixed asset registers, depreciation schedules, and ensure proper capitalisation of assets.</li>
<li>Variance Analysis &amp; Financial Insights: Support financial planning teams by providing variance analysis and explanations for financial results.</li>
<li>Process Improvement &amp; Internal Controls: Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to strengthen financial controls.</li>
<li>Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with Finance Managers, auditors, and business units to ensure financial accuracy.</li>
<li>Ad-Hoc Duties: Assist in system implementations, financial modelling, and other ad-hoc tasks or duties as assigned by the management</li>
