Job Description

Job Summary:

The Outlet Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth workflow, high service quality, and full compliance with food safety and operational standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining the authenticity of Chinese cuisine, enhancing guest satisfaction, and leading the outlet team towards consistent excellence in a culturally respectful dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including kitchen, service, and overall cleanliness.
  • Ensure all food preparation and service adhere to the restaurant’s quality, hygiene, and food safety standards.
  • Monitor inventory, stock levels, and ordering processes to ensure fresh, authentic ingredients are always available.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the outlet team to deliver outstanding service and teamwork.
  • Handle guest feedback professionally and ensure prompt resolution of issues.
  • Manage staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and continuous development.
  • Oversee budgeting, cost control, and outlet sales reporting to achieve financial targets.
  • Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards throughout all areas of operation.
  • Support marketing initiatives, festive promotions, and community engagement activities to boost brand visibility.
  • Ensure consistency and authenticity in the presentation and taste of Chinese / Dim Sum cuisine.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in F&B, preferably as a Restaurant or Outlet Manager.
  • Prior experience in Chinese or Dim Sum restaurant operations (non-halal) is highly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of Chinese culinary traditions, service standards, and menu flow.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage both front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong understanding of SOPs, kitchen workflows, and traditional Chinese dining service.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and restaurant performance tracking.
  • Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to communicate in Mandarin.
