About the Role

As a Marketing Intern at Foundingbird, you will work closely with the Founder, marketing team, and customer success team to support content creation, campaign execution, and lifecycle marketing.

This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on exposure to real marketing, not just posting on social media. You will learn how marketing connects directly to sales, customer success, retention, and referrals, while using modern tools, especially AI, to work efficiently.

You will gain visibility across the full customer lifecycle, from first touchpoint to long-term customer loyalty.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Content & Communication

• Assist with content ideation and creation across blog articles, guides, social media, landing pages, and email.
• Help turn complex topics (company setup, compliance, entrepreneurship) into clear, helpful, founder-friendly content.
• Repurpose existing content into multiple formats (articles → social posts → short videos → email snippets).

AI-Powered Marketing

• Use AI tools to speed up research, content drafts, summaries, visuals, and distribution.
• Learn how to prompt, refine, and fact-check AI-generated content so it remains accurate and trustworthy.
• Experiment with AI workflows to improve productivity and consistency.

Full Lifecycle Marketing Exposure

• Support initiatives across the entire funnel: 
• Lead acquisition (content, SEO, social, partnerships)
• Lead nurturing (email, WhatsApp, follow-ups)
• Conversion (landing pages, messaging, case studies)
• Retention & upsell (educational content, reminders)
• Referrals (community building, incentives, storytelling)
• Help track what content or channels perform best and why.

Customer Understanding

• Speak with customers and collaborate closely with the Customer Success team to understand: 
• Common questions and objections
• Pain points founders face before and after incorporation
• What customers love and what frustrates them
• Translate real customer insights into better marketing messages and content ideas.

Job Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Curious about marketing, startups, and entrepreneurship.
• Comfortable writing and communicating in English (other languages are a plus).
• Willing to learn and experiment with AI tools and new marketing methods.
• Not afraid to ask questions, talk to customers, and dig into problems.
• Organized, reliable, and able to follow through on tasks.
• Being able to work from office in Taman Desa, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
