Job Description
The Retail Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily retail operations, leading the retail team, and ensuring excellent customer experience. This role supervises Assistant Retail Supervisors and Retail Assistants, ensuring sales targets, operational efficiency, and service quality are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Supervision
- Supervise and guide Assistant Retail Supervisor and Retail Assistants
- Prepare staff duty rosters, leave planning, and manpower allocation
- Sales & Customer Experience
- Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Ensure excellent customer service and product knowledge (24K gold plated jewellery)
- Handle customer feedback, complaints, and after-sales issues professionally
- Store Operations & Compliance
- Oversee daily store opening and closing procedures
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained
- Monitor stock levels, product displays, and stock movement
- Ensure cash handling, POS transactions, and daily sales reports are accurate
- Inventory & Stock Control
- Monitor inventory accuracy and assist in stock counts
- Report discrepancies, damages, or losses promptly
- Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare daily and monthly sales and performance reports
Job Requirements
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of retail experience, preferably in jewellery, fashion, or luxury retail
- At least 1 year in a supervisory or senior retail role
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
- Sales-driven mindset with good analytical and reporting ability
- Able to work on weekends, public holidays, and during sales campaigns
- Basic computer skills (POS, Excel, reporting systems)
