<li>To comply with legal and other requirements applicable to the organization.</li>
<li>To ensure that applicable safety and health legal and other requirements are fulfilled. To promote safety and health awareness and implement programs at work sites.</li>
<li>To monitor and control subcontractor’s safety and health practices.</li>
<li>To enforce the use of personal protective equipment, and continuously improve safety and health practices at workplace.</li>
<li>To attend to emergency situations involving the health, lives and securities of workmen.</li>
<li>To determine the cause of accidents and recommend means of prevention.</li>
<li>To identify and rectify any unusual or hazardous construction method.</li>
<li>To ensure good housekeeping at work sites.</li>
<li>To conduct safety and health inspection.</li>
<li>To monitor the movement of workers, materials, goods, plant and machinery into and out of the project sites.</li>
<li>To assist the site personnel and workers on day-to-day implementation of the QESH management system.</li>
<li>To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.</li>
