Job Description

• Manage and improve warranty guidelines and policies.
• Process and confirm judgement on warranty claim as per schedule.
• Control and monitor claim rates for parts, material, sublet and Flat Rate Time (FRT).
• Handle enquiries on warranty claims and Prior Work Approval (PWA).
• Conduct audit and analyze warranty policies compliance at dealer for improvement action plans.
• Monitor and manage all warranty defective parts status.
• Plan and conduct warranty loss reduction activity by close monitoring on the warranty rejection rate, submission time & accuracy.
• Analyze market technical problem trends through warranty claim data and alert related parties.
• Joint study with local suppliers, factory engineers and technical staff on difficult market cases.
• Conduct meeting with assembly factory to improve product quality.
• Discuss and coordinate with local suppliers to support any market technical issues.
• Monitor other countries’ market quality problems for preventive and improvement activity.
• Monitor and ensure warranty claim payment from principal and suppliers.
• Prepare and conduct Warranty & System training for nationwide dealers.
• Develop and upgrade warranty and maintenance booklet.
• Support for any company event which is related to warranty and explanation.
• Plan and control section budgeting.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports to the management.
• Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Degree in Engineering /Economic/ Account or equivalent.
• Required languages : English, Bahasa Malaysia, we are also seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to better serve our Mandarin-speaking clients.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably with working experience in automotive industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication & negotiation skills.
• Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Applicants must possess a valid driving license for regular travelling. 
• Applicants must be willing to work in Kuala Lumpur.
• Full-time position.
