Job Description

• Manage and maintain Oracle databases in production and non-production environments
• Perform database installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades
• Monitor database performance and carry out performance tuning and optimization
• Handle backup and recovery operations, ensuring data integrity and availability
• Conduct health checks and support Disaster Recovery (DR) planning & validation
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolution
• Support middleware clustering environments and ensure system stability
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to support business requirements
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and reports

Job Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle database administration
• Strong understanding of platform administration
• Experience in middleware clustering
• Expertise in Oracle database installation, configuration & upgrade
• Performance tuning & troubleshooting
• Healthcheck & DR validation
• Experience in database backup & recovery
• Strong stakeholder coordination
• Fluent in English communication. Bahasa Melayu is added advantage.
• Good in technical documentation writing.
