Marketing Executive (Student Accommodation)

HostelPro is expanding in 2026, and we’re looking for an energetic, people-oriented, and creative Marketing Executive to join our growing team.

This role combines digital marketing, student engagement, and on-ground activities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both online and face-to-face interaction.

Note: This role includes on-ground student engagement such as handling enquiries, house viewings, and check-in assistance.

Job Scope / Responsibilities

• Plan and execute marketing campaigns for HostelPro student accommodation properties
• Manage social media accounts and create engaging content (posts, reels, ads)
• Handle student enquiries via WhatsApp, calls, social media, and walk-ins
• Arrange and bring students for house viewings
• Follow up with potential tenants and assist in converting leads
• Guide students through the check-in process and explain house rules & procedures
• Conduct basic market research and competitor analysis
• Build and maintain good relationships with students, agents, and partners

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or related fields
• 1–2 years of experience in marketing, sales, or customer-facing roles (Fresh graduates with strong portfolios are welcome)
• Strong communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage)
• Knowledge of social media marketing, digital ads, and content creation
• Able to plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns
• Familiar with Canva, Meta Business Suite or Google tools
• Creative, responsible, proactive, and results-driven
• Comfortable dealing with students and parents
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Own transport preferred
• No outstation travel required
• Able to start work in early 2026
