Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Accounts & Finance Manager to join our fast-growing retail and e-commerce company. You’ll be responsible for managing the full scope of financial operations including reporting, budgeting, cash flow, taxation, and supporting strategic business planning. This role is ideal for someone who can independently handle full management accounts and ensure full compliance with Malaysian regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare and present financial statements: P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across departments.
• Oversee daily accounting operations: AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, and payments.
• Ensure compliance with all tax requirements (SST, corporate tax, withholding tax).
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents for audits and statutory submissions.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, collections, and financial obligations.
• Improve accounting SOPs and strengthen internal financial controls.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support strategic decision-making.
• Participate in system enhancements and finance process automation

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification preferred (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CIMA).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance/accounting
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax laws.
• Proficient in SQL, AutoCount, Xero, or similar accounting software.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
