Job Description

Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our Service Crew, you will be the face of Banglo 289, ensuring every guest has a memorable and delightful dining experience.

  • Guest Hospitality: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage seating arrangements, and ensure all diners feel welcomed and valued.
  • Service & Operations: Guide guests through our self-service/canteen-style lunch setup, explain menu items with knowledge and enthusiasm, and assist with any specific needs or requests.
  • Order & Payment Handling: Efficiently manage Point-of-Sale (POS) transactions, handle cash and credit card payments accurately, and assist guests with the ordering process.
  • Restaurant Upkeep: Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and ambiance of the dining area, including tables, condiment stations, and general FOH space.
  • Teamwork & Communication: Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other FOH crew members to ensure smooth service flow, especially during peak hours.
  • Problem Solving: Address guest feedback or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the FOH Supervisor or Manager when necessary.
