Job Description
- Review, assess, and approve Shield claims within stipulated turnaround times, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct claims investigations, including service recovery and handling enquiries related to claims.
- Liaise with hospitals and clinics to obtain medical clarifications and supporting documentation.
- Participate in projects and initiatives assigned by the supervisor to improve claims processes and service delivery.
- Deliver high-quality customer service by engaging with customers, addressing enquiries, and managing complaints effectively and professionally.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or any related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Life & Health claims assessor
- Familiarity with medical terminology, diseases, and treatments
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken & written)
- Individuals who are proficient in basic Mandarin is an added advantage
- Professional certifications such as OMA or FLMI are a plus
