Job Description

Job Title: Personal Assistant

We are seeking a highly self motivated, organised, reliable, and proactive Personal Assistant to support both personal and household matters, while also assisting a Korean CEO with day-to-day tasks. This role requires flexibility, excellent communication skills, and a hands-on attitude.

Key Responsibilities

Driving & Transport Duties

  • MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE A MERCEDES VITO COMFORTABLY AND CONFIDENTLY
  • Safely drive the employer and family members to appointments, errands, and other destinations
  • Ensure the vehicle is regularly maintained, cleaned, and in good condition

Household & Office Upkeep

  • Assist with dishes, tidying the house and office, and ensuring work and living spaces remain clean and organised
  • Monitor household supplies and restock when needed

Administrative Support

  • Manage office filing, documentation, and simple record keeping

Errand Running

  • Handle various personal and household errands such as grocery shopping, parcel pick-ups, and bank runs

Household & Property Management

  • Coordinate and oversee external service providers, including:
  • Cleaners
  • Pool maintenance
  • Air conditioning servicing
  • General home repairs and renovations

Event & Party Planning

  • Assist in organising private events and gatherings

Supervising & Transporting Children

  • Assist with occasional supervising of children when needed
  • Drive children to and from school or activities as required

Petty Cash & Payments

  • Manage and record petty cash expenses

Online Selling & Carousell Account Management

  • Take clear, appealing photos of secondhand items
  • Post items on Carousell or other platforms with proper descriptions
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Set appointments, manage meet ups or deliveries, and finalise deals

Ad Hoc Tasks

  • Provide hands-on support for any day-to-day tasks as assigned


Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driving license with a clean driving record
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in any Chinese dialect is an added advantage
  • Trustworthy, discreet, and able to handle confidential matters responsibly
  • Capable of multitasking and working independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable with children and able to assist reliably with childcare-related tasks

Working Hours

Full-time position (40 hours per week):

  • Monday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Thursday: Day off
  • Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Sunday: Day off

Note: Hours may vary depending on tasks or special events. Some flexibility is required, especially around children’s school drop-off and pick-up times.

Work Environment

You will be working closely with a small team of 4–5 people, so it’s important that you are comfortable in a compact work environment. The ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage tasks with minimal supervision is essential. We're looking for someone proactive, resourceful, and confident in handling day-to-day responsibilities.

Salary & Benefits

Salary:

RM5,000 per month (structured as follows)

  • RM3,000 during the first 6-month probation period
  • RM4,000 for the following 1-year confirmed period
  • RM5,000 upon satisfactory completion of 1 year and 6 months of employment

Interview Process

First step, we will send you questionnaire conducted via WhatsApp. YOU NEED TO ACCEPT AND REPLY WHATSAPP GROUP INVITE IN ORDER TO CONTINUE WITH HIRING PROCESS. Candidates will be added to a WhatsApp group where they will receive pre-interview questions before moving forward to the next stage. If you pass this stage, we will contact you for second step.

Second step, we will arrange online interview which will last maximum 1 hours. If you pass, you will be contacted for in person interview.

Third step, in person interview which will include driving test. Once interview is conducted, we will notify you on whether you are hired or not.

If you pass all the steps, you will be contacted to sign employment contract.
