Job Description
- Perform the daily accounting operational duties such as account receivable, payments verification, journals, fixed assets and any reconciliations etc. for monthly closings
- Perform daily collections, payments and credit related activities
- Assist in the full sets of accounts and completing the financial closing tasks within deadlines with the team
- Assist in the preparation of the management accounts & reports and ensure timely reporting
- To daily supervise a team in completing the daily/monthly accounting operational duties in a timely reporting
- Maintaining, updating and safekeeping of all information from time to time in a neat and tidy approach
- To prepare and ensure accurate, timely completion of reports in accordance with the management direction
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior
Job Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
- Preferably 1 to 3 years relevant experience/ fresh graduates
- Experience in large scale retail accounts with supervision experience will be an advantage
- Able to work under pressure & tight deadlines
- Good command of English, and Bahasa Malaysia
- Mature, team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Good proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft programs
- Able to manage multiple tasks with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadline and a flexibility to work on weekend/public holiday when required
- Possess the flexibility to outstation when required
