Job Description

Strategic New Business Development

  • Quantitative Indicator: Identifies, builds, and manages key alliances to drive company growth through revenue generation and market expansion. 
  • Partner identification & acquisition: Research and secure new strategic partners, including businesses, tech platforms, and content providers, to drive revenue and expand market presence. 
  • Market expansion: Focus on opening new sectors in Malaysia, targeting non-endemic industries such as FMCG, Finance, Automobile etc while identifying brands looking to engage the youth demographic. 
  • Consultative proposals: Develop and present tailored business proposals that clearly demonstrate the value of our platform and the benefits of partnership  

Hybrid Sales & Marketing

  • Serve as the main point of contact between clients and our internal teams 
  • Ensure successful campaign execution by adapting strategies as needed 
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new events or changes in our offerings 
  • Track record in delivering sales success 
  • Analytical/strategic ability to identify and articulate a business or marketing case for potential sponsors 

Account Management & Retention 

  • Foster long-term relationships with sponsors, ensuring they feel valued throughout the year 
  • Regularly update clients on campaign performance and identify upselling opportunities 
  • Build connections with media and creative agencies to expand our clientele 
  • Attend networking events to strengthen relationships within the industry

Job Requirements

  1. At least 8+ years in partnerships, media sales, or agency account management. Candidates with a marketing solutions background will be extra value added. 
  2. Self-Motivated: Driven by career success, building partnerships and performance focused. 
  3. Collaborative: Willingness contributing to marketing ideas, presentations, and event planning. 
  4. Network: Established contacts in the Malaysian advertising and brand industry. 
  5. Language Skills: Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin skills are a plus. 
  6. Adaptable: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment that responds to market changes. 
  7. Interpersonal Skills: Strong business acumen, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.
