Job Description

We are searching for a motivated Accounting Assistant who is an excellent multitasker with exceptional communication and time management skills. Accounting Assistants can expect to assist the Accounting department with data entry, processing, and recording transactions, updating the ledger, assisting with audits or fact-checking and reports. You should be thorough, accurate, and honest with good bookkeeping skills

Accounting Assistant should have an understanding of basic Accounting principles and proficiency with computers and software, such as MS Excel or Autocount Accounting software. You should be trustworthy, efficient, and organized

Job Requirements

  • Provide support to the Accounting Department
  • Perform basic office tasks such as filing data entry answering phones processing mail
  • Handle communications with clients and vendors through phone email and in-person
  • Process transactions issue checks and update ledgers
  • Assist with audits fact checks and resolving discrepancies
  • Be proficient with computers and bookkeeping software have good typing skills
  • Have exceptional time management and communication skills both verbal and written
  • Be familiar with basic accounting principles
  • Display a professional manner and strong ethical code
  • Possess the ability to multitask stay motivated and remain positive
  • Commit to working efficiently and accurately.
