Job Description

The Halal Executive is responsible for ensuring the company’s operations, products and processes comply with applicable halal standards, regulatory requirements, and certification guidelines. This role supports audit readiness, documentation control, training, and continuous improvement of halal practices across departments. 

• Responsible for overall system management in the company including Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, Halal Assurance System.
• In charge to Halal matter and liaise with JAKIM/JAIS officer for audit matter.
• Verify all documents and activities related to Halal Assurance System (HAS).
• Maintain and update HAS manual documents are in order and well-maintained.
• To receive and ensure the incoming raw materials and ingredients within the specification.
• To check and monitor preparing of the products are follow the specification.
• To check sanitation and hygiene of all workers and areas.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and ensure all workers follow the SOP.
• Assist in updating QC Manual
• Monitor and update daily progress with QC Personal
• To carry out such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must posses at least a Diploma in Halal Management/ Bachelor’s Degree Holder/Professional Degree in Food Science/Technology or equivalent
• At least 2 years and above working experience on Halal matters
• Posses Halal Executive certificate issued by recognized Halal Training Provider by HPB (Halal Professional Board) by JAKIM
• Knowledge in HACCP, GMP, and HACCP
• Good interpersonal and communication skills especially with foreign workers
• Able to handle ISO audit & documentation.
• Flexible, positive attitude and adaptable to changes.
