Job Description

• Maintain full-set accounting records, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
• Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, petty cash, and inter-company transactions.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including preparation of GST/SST filings, corporate tax, and other statutory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits (preparation of required documents and coordination with the outsourced accounting firm, including providing explanations as necessary).
• Handle full payroll functions, including salary computation, statutory deductions, allowances, reimbursements, staff queries, and year-end tax and reporting compliance.
• Liaise with management and other departments on financial matters.
• File, copy, and organize accounts-related documents to maintain proper records.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in full-set accounting, preferably in a corporate or branch office environment.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
