Job Description

We are local consulting engineer firm and in-line with our expansion programme, we are seeking a civil & structural draftman to join our team. In this role, the candidate will be working with our design engineer for preparation, check and present drafting works for infrastructure and structural drawings of various projects of the company.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with design engineers to prepare design, tender, and construction drawings for infrastructure, steel, and reinforced concrete structures, including foundations for buildings and infrastructure projects. 
• Review and amend drawings to ensure accuracy, practicality, and compliance with project requirements. 
• Assist in checking compliance with local building codes, standards, and regulations. 
• Monitor the progress of drafting work and continuously improve layouts and detailing in drawings.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Certificate in AutoCAD or equivalent drafting software. 
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in civil and structural drafting. 
• Strong understanding of drafting practices and standards. 
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and continuously improve.
