Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning lifting operations, equipment selection and load studies
- Prepare basic lifting plans, method statements and risk assessments
- Coordinate crane and trailer mobilization with logistics and site teams
- Conduct site visits, technical inspections and site assessments
- Communicate with clients, supervisors and internal departments
- Support workshop and maintenance teams with engineering input
- Prepare documentation including equipment logs, schedules and technical reports
- Learn crane load charts, rigging calculations and transport route planning
- The role includes participation in a structured one-year training and development programme designed to provide comprehensive exposure to technical, operational and administrative functions, ensuring competency, compliance and readiness for independent responsibilities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering
- Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply
- Interest in cranes, logistics, lifting operations and project execution
- Willing to work on-site and travel to project locations when required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is a bonus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient and competent with Microsoft Office 365
- Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia and fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage for liaising with Mandarin-speaking clients
- Required Skills: Engineering Design, Heavy Equipment Operation, Communication, Project Management, Risk Assessment
- Candidates who are willing to commute and work in Port Klang, Selangor will be shortlisted.
