Job Description

Job Purpose:

To support the procurement process by sourcing products, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and materials in line with company needs. The Procurement Executive ensures accurate documentation and helps maintain cost efficiency and stock availability.

  • Identify and evaluate new suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability. Maintain and update an approved supplier database.
  • Request and analyze quotations from multiple suppliers. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contract terms.
  • Prepare, issue, and track Purchase Orders (POs) accurately. Coordinate changes in order quantities, specifications, or delivery timing as needed.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to monitor stock levels.
  • Follow up on shipments to ensure timely delivery. Handle issues related to late deliveries, incorrect items, or damaged goods.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
  • Monitor purchase costs and highlight pricing trends or cost-saving opportunities.
  • Provide regular procurement reports to the management team.
  • Work closely with internal departments (Sales, Warehouse, Accounts, etc.) to align purchasing activities with business needs.
  • Evaluate supplier’s performance based on the organization’s criteria.

Job Requirements

  • Skill Qualification :

    Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in a trading or distribution company. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). 
  • Good negotiation and communication skills. 
  • Team player with the ability to work independently. 
  • Experience or familiar with ERP or purchasing software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or OBM)
