Few Positions Available!

Locations: Alor Setar, Kedah & Penang

We’re looking for driven individuals to join our team and contribute to the research and development of exciting new products across various categories. This role will be involving on the development of prototypes, sourcing materials, managing R&D projects, and engineering packaging specifications that meet regulatory requirements especially in seasonings, RTD (Ready to Drink), pastes and sauces.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Conceptualisation, Development, & Testing
  • Generate ideas and conceptualise new or improved products based on market research, consumer insights, and emerging trends
  • Develop and test prototypes to evaluate product functionality, taste, and performance
  • Gather feedback and perform feasibility studies to refine your concepts
  • Innovate packaging solutions that balance branding, shelf impact, functionality, and sustainability 
  • Engineer packaging specifications and ensure they meet product protection, transport, and regulatory requirement
  1. Project Management
  • Manage R&D projects from start to finish (plan timelines, manage budgets, and coordinate resources)
  • Work closely with internal teams (Product Development, QM, and Regulatory, Marketing) to ensure smooth and aligned product launches
  • Ensure ingredient sourcing aligns with development timelines and production needs
  • Prepare clear reports and updates for management review
  • Tackle ad-hoc tasks from manager to ensure seamless operation

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years’ hands-on experience in R&D, particularly in new product development and packaging - preferably in a FMCG industry
  • Strong understanding of product development processes, packaging engineering, and regulatory standards 
  • Familiar with food manufacturing regulations and compliance requirements
