Job Description

1. Full Set of Accounts

  • Manage daily accounting operations and maintain general ledger.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Handle month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Reconcile bank statements, intercompany balances, and control accounts.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents.

2. Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Issue and record sales invoices and credit notes.
  • Monitor receivables and follow up with customers on outstanding payments.
  • Perform customer account reconciliation and reporting.
  • Prepare AR aging reports and escalate overdue accounts as needed.

3. Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Verify and process supplier invoices, credit notes, and staff claims.
  • Match invoices with PO and delivery orders.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
  • Maintain AP aging reports and resolve vendor disputes.

4. E-Invoicing

  • Manage e-invoicing submissions via platforms like government portals.
  • Ensure compliance with tax authority regulations.
  • Troubleshoot e-invoice rejections and resolve integration issues with ERP systems.
  • Keep records aligned with statutory and audit requirements.

5. Financial Guidance & Process Improvement

  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve profitability or cost control.
  • Advise management on financial implications of business decisions.
  • Identify areas for process automation or efficiency.
  • Monitor compliance with internal controls and recommend updates where needed.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience handling full sets of accounts.
  • Proficient in accounting software.
  • Solid understanding of SST, income tax, and statutory reporting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and provide financial recommendations to management.
  • Familiarity with e-invoicing frameworks.
  • Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or financial planning.
