About the Role
To perform all the accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts transactions timely and accurately.
What you'll be doing
🔹 Credit Control &amp; Collection
<ul>
<li>Update credit control listings and post customer collections promptly.</li>
<li>Ensure AR reports are verified and processed for orders within the same day.</li>
</ul>
🔹 Invoicing &amp; Documentation
<ul>
<li>Issue invoices &amp; DOs 3 days before delivery.</li>
<li>Ensure DOs are acknowledged within one week and filed within a day.</li>
<li>Send invoices &amp; DOs to relevant teams on the same day.</li>
<li>Generate and send Statements of Account by the 5th of each month.</li>
</ul>
🔹 Contra &amp; Reconciliations
<ul>
<li>Process contra notes for debtors/creditors upon receiving supporting documents.</li>
<li>Reconcile top local &amp; overseas suppliers by the 12th of the month.</li>
</ul>
🔹 Payments &amp; Forecasting
<ul>
<li>Prepare monthly supplier payment forecasts by the 12th.</li>
<li>Process urgent payments within 1 working day.</li>
<li>Ensure petty cash is recorded in ERP every Friday.</li>
<li>Clear advance payments within the same calendar month.</li>
</ul>
🔹 Reporting &amp; Accuracy
<ul>
<li>Verify debtor aging &amp; sales reports weekly.</li>
<li>Ensure all Interco billings are accurately recorded.</li>
<li>Clear unknown collections every Monday.</li>
<li>Submit customer collection forecasts by the 7th, verified &amp; sent to Treasury by the 10th.</li>
</ul>
