About the role
As a Purchasing Executive, you are responsible for end-to-end procurement activities including issuing POs, coordinating with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, and supporting project operations across departments.
What you'll be doing
<ul>
<li>Issue accurate Purchase Orders (POs) based on requests within the required lead time.</li>
<li>Ensure timely acknowledgment and delivery from suppliers.</li>
<li>Monitor outstanding POs and follow up with suppliers.</li>
<li>Negotiate pricing, lead time, minimum order quantity (MOQ), and payment terms.</li>
<li>Evaluate supplier performance and maintain backup supplier options.</li>
<li>Verify invoices against POs before submitting to Accounts.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate ERP records; escalate any required changes.</li>
<li>Handle returns and defective item claims.</li>
<li>Provide alternatives or lead times for out-of-stock items.</li>
<li>Coordinate with internal teams for purchasing, packing, and delivery.</li>
<li>Update monthly procurement reports.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
