Company :Sime Darby Joy Industries S/B<ul><li>The Inspector – Quality Control reports directly to the Manager – Quality Control.</li><li>He is responsible for ensuring all quality inspections &amp; tests are carried out in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS) Procedures, Applicable Codes, Standards and Specifications.</li><li>Responsible for ensuring that the departmental quality objectives and project requirements are met.</li><li>Responsible for the compliance and execution of both ASME Manual and QMS at workshop and site.</li><li>Responsible for ensuring inspection and test related work are executed as per the Inspection &amp; Test Plan (ITP) and project’s approved procedures.</li><li>Responsible for ensuring all sub-contacted works are carried out in accordance to the applicable project requirements and proper implementation.</li></ul><ul><li>Carry out all quality related inspections and tests in accordance with the ITP and Project Specific Procedures.</li><li>Monitor and carry out product verification, ensuring compliances to project’s specific requirements and tests.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform timely inspection of Inspection Points identified on the Traveller’s Check List for shop constructions and field assemblies in accordance with SDJ ASME QC Manual.</li><li>Prepare all relevant inspection reports for all stages of inspections.</li><li>Welding parameter monitoring and welder’s performance.</li><li>Coordinate, monitor and quality verification on NDE, Painting, Galvanizing and other similar sub-contracted works.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure timely execution of NDE by sub-vendor to ensure timely readiness of product.</li><li>Liaise with customer, end user, 3rd Party and other external inspection authorities on inspection and test activities.</li><li>Carry out final inspection and product release certificates.</li><li>Responsible for raising the NCR on detection of an item not conforming to the relevant Codes, Standards and Specifications requirements.</li></ul>
