Job Description

  • Perform hardware support and maintenance — installations, moves, adds, and changes (IMAC).
     
  • Handle IT equipment decommissioning, including servers, storage, and networking devices.
     
  • Conduct media management — secure HDD/SSD destruction and disposal.
     
  • Manage structured cabling tasks, including connecting and disconnecting patch cables.
     
  • Perform hardware break-fix support — replace or reseat HDDs, memory, mainboards, SFP modules, and related components.
     
  • Conduct regular physical and visual inspections of equipment and facility conditions.
     
  • Provide on-site support during scheduled maintenance and change activities.
     
  • Troubleshoot IT and network hardware issues in collaboration with technical teams.
     
  • Maintain and track inventory of RMA parts, cold spares, and tools.
     
  • Coordinate and supervise vendor activities, including access control and site escorting.
     
  • Support POP site operations and provide on-call standby assistance as needed.
     
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports on operational activities, incidents, and improvements.
     
  • Adhere to all safety, security, and operational compliance standards.
     
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure smooth data center operations.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in data center operations, infrastructure support, or related technical environment.
     
  • Good understanding of structured cabling systems, patching standards, and hardware installations.
     
  • Hands-on experience in IT hardware support, troubleshooting, and component replacement.
     
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to respond effectively to incidents.
     
  • Familiar with incident and change management processes.
     
  • Experience in large-scale or critical environments is an advantage.
     
  • Fresh graduates with relevant technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
     
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.
     
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts (24/7 support) and provide after-hours or on-call support.
     

Added Advantage:

  • Knowledge in rack, space, power, and cooling capacity management.
     
  • Understanding of data center environmental systems (UPS, CRAC, PDUs).
     
  • Familiar with DCIM or ticketing systems.
     
  • Professional certifications such as CDCP, ITIL, Server+, Linux+, Network+, A+, or CCNA are preferred.
