Job Summary
The M&amp;E Draughtsman is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and plans for mechanical and electrical systems in construction projects. This includes coordination drawings, as-built documentation, and ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Prepare technical drawings for M&amp;E systems using BIM software. Assist technical and tender team to prepare M&amp;E tender drawings.</li>
<li>Interpret and translate engineers’ sketches and specifications into accurate drafts.</li>
<li>Produce coordination drawings, sections, elevations, and detailed layouts.</li>
<li>Conduct site visits to verify dimensions and capture as-built conditions.</li>
<li>Update and maintain drawing registers and documentation.</li>
<li>Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other draughtsman to ensure design accuracy.</li>
<li>Ensure all drawings comply with local codes, standards, and project requirements.</li>
<li>Assist in resolving design conflicts and participate in coordination meetings.</li>
</ul>
