Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits.
Ensure all workers comply with safety rules, wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and follow safe work practices.
Carry out daily Toolbox Meetings and weekly Safety Talks.
Investigate incidents and near-misses and prepare detailed investigation reports.
Liaise with subcontractors and ensure their compliance with site safety requirements.
Keep and maintain site safety documentation, including permits, inspection records, and safety reports.
Assist in developing and implementing the Site Safety Plan, Risk Assessments, and Emergency Response Plan.
Coordinate with authorities such as the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) and the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) when required.
Promote safety awareness among workers through safety campaigns and visual reminders.
Assist in preparing and compiling relevant safety-related documents as required.
Perform duties as assigned and follow instructions from superiors and management.
Job Requirements
Minimum Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction or industrial site safety.
Possess a valid Yellow Book.
Knowledge of local HSE regulations (OSHA, DOSH, FMA, etc.).
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both spoken and written).
Able to work under pressure, independently, and in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication, observation, and reporting skills.
