Job Description

• Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits.
• Ensure all workers comply with safety rules, wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and follow safe work practices.
• Carry out daily Toolbox Meetings and weekly Safety Talks.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses and prepare detailed investigation reports.
• Liaise with subcontractors and ensure their compliance with site safety requirements.
• Keep and maintain site safety documentation, including permits, inspection records, and safety reports.
• Assist in developing and implementing the Site Safety Plan, Risk Assessments, and Emergency Response Plan.
• Coordinate with authorities such as the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) and the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) when required.
• Promote safety awareness among workers through safety campaigns and visual reminders.
• Assist in preparing and compiling relevant safety-related documents as required.
• Perform duties as assigned and follow instructions from superiors and management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent. 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction or industrial site safety. 
• Possess a valid Yellow Book. 
• Knowledge of local HSE regulations (OSHA, DOSH, FMA, etc.). 
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both spoken and written). 
• Able to work under pressure, independently, and in a fast-paced environment. 
• Good communication, observation, and reporting skills.
