<div>Legal</div><ul><li>Drafting, reviewing, and advising all manner of agreements (particularly for customers, suppliers, business partners, NDAs).</li><li>Familiarity and experience with documents (including but not limited to due diligence, share sale and purchase agreements, shareholder agreements) and commercial issues including corporate /commercial matters such as and mergers and acquisitions, financing arrangements.</li><li>Familiarity and able to understand and advice on regulatory compliance concerning the legislation applicable to the business such as the Credit Reporting Agencies Act 2010 (CRAA), Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA), Financial Services Act, Islamic Financial Services Act, BNM Policies and Guidelines, Multimedia and Communication Act, Companies Act, Bursa Listing</li><li>Requirements and any related subsidiary legislation, regulations, orders. Ability to apply the law to contracts, negotiations, and advice to client.</li><li>Experience and comprehension of the PDPA and CRAA is crucial, particularly in applying the same to contracts, negotiations, and opinions.</li><li>Ability and instinct to negotiate/secure best commercial position for the company whilst applying the law and taking cognizance of other relevant factors.</li><li>Advising and monitoring potential litigation and litigation matters including preparing the necessary internal and external reports.</li><li>Ability to deal and manage external counsel.</li><li>Understanding of litigation, dispute resolution, strategy, and dispute resolution. Willingness and ability to negotiate and contest opposing parties.</li><li>Ability and willingness to think commercially and formulate solutions to complex commercial situations</li></ul> Regulatory (Assistance) <ul><li>Assisting regulatory and compliance team in any legal matters</li><li>Where necessary, to establish a rapport with the relevant regulators i.e. CRA Registrar, BNM, PDPA commissioner, Bursa Malaysia, Securities Commission, PDRM.</li><li>Ability to discuss and negotiate with regulators to achieve best case scenario. Multitasking with dynamic fast-paced environment.</li><li>Ability to draft and review regulatory related correspondences.</li><li>Willingness to travel for meetings with regulators.</li></ul> <div> </div>
