Job Description

As an Account Executive at our energetic events company, you will be the financial backbone behind our events — ensuring all budgets, billing, and vendor payments run smoothly so that our events shine without financial hiccups. You’ll combine bookkeeping precision with collaborative coordination across sales, events, and logistics teams to ensure each project is financially sound.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily financial operations including invoicing, vendor disbursements, and client billing for each event/project.
     
  • Track and monitor income and expenses associated with events to ensure profitability and budget adherence.
     
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records for all transactions.
     
  • Reconcile bank statements and event-related transactions; prepare monthly or project-based financial summaries and reports for management.
     
  • Generate quotes, purchase orders, vendor bills, and client invoices.
     
  • Follow up on client payments and ensure timely payments to vendors.
     
  • Assist with e-invoicing, tax compliance, and adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
     
  • Work closely with event sales, operations, and logistics teams to provide financial insights and support throughout event planning and execution.
     

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
     
  • 1–3 years’ experience in accounting, accounts receivable/payable, or finance-related roles (ideally within services, events, or SME environment).
     
  • Proficient in accounting software (or willingness to learn), Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with e-invoicing systems.
     
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and high organizational skills.
     
  • Good communication skills — able to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
     
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous projects.
     
  • Basic understanding of tax and compliance requirements relative to billing and invoicing (preferred but not mandatory).
