Job Description

 Position Responsibilities 

• Maintain monthly profit and loss statement and balance sheet schedule.
• Manage daily accounting operations and documentation for GL & AR function.
• Perform monthly closing including account receivable and revenue function.
• Reconcile discrepancies arising between the system and finance records, proactively seek for solution to identify and minimize the differences.
• Liaise with internal & external stakeholders pertaining to audit & tax matters.
• Assists to compile financial related information for corporate exercise.
• Perform other related ad-hoc duties as assigned.
• Ensure proper compliance with local accounting and auditing standards.

Job Requirements

 Qualifications & Experiences

• Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in accounting or degree equivalent in professional certificates, such as ACCA/LCCI.
• Candidates with 1-3 years of experience in AR/GL (any related fields) are required.
• Experience in audit will be an added advantage.
• Experience in the Retail or FMCG field is preferred, but other fields are also considerable.
• Required general knowledge of accounting/ financial/operational principle.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft office and Microsoft Excel.
• Comfortable using computers, with experience in business solutions & accounting software
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Effective communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
• Independent, self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Able to multitask, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
