<p>&nbsp;<strong>Job description</strong></p>
<h2><strong>1. Quality Management &amp; Continuous Improvement</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Lead initiatives to improve product quality, reduce defects, and enhance process efficiency.</li>
<li>Monitor and analyze quality performance trends (e.g., defect rates, customer complaints, internal rejection).</li>
<li>Conduct root-cause analysis using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, PDCA, or FMEA.</li>
<li>Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).</li>
<li>Review and update SOPs, Work Instructions, and Quality Standards to ensure compliance.</li>
<li>Coordinate internal quality audits and ensure readiness for customer or external audits.</li>
<li>Lead improvement projects such as KAIZEN, 5S, or Lean initiatives.</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>2. Quality Control Operations</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Oversee QC inspection activities (incoming, in-process, and outgoing).</li>
<li>Ensure QC team follows proper sampling plans and inspection criteria.</li>
<li>Verify measurement tools and equipment calibration status.</li>
<li>Approve or reject materials/products based on inspection results.</li>
<li>Support production in solving real-time quality issues on the shop floor.</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>3. Customer Quality Management</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Act as the main point of contact for customer complaints and quality-related issues.</li>
<li>Handle customer feedback professionally and provide timely responses.</li>
<li>Coordinate investigation for customer claims and prepare 8D reports or corrective action reports.</li>
<li>Attend customer meetings, quality reviews, or discussion sessions.</li>
<li>Ensure customer specifications and requirements are properly communicated to production and QC teams.</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>4. Documentation &amp; Reporting</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Maintain quality records such as inspection reports, NCRs, CAPA reports, and audit documents.</li>
<li>Prepare monthly quality performance reports for management review.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with ISO standards and company quality policies.</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>5. Cross-Department Collaboration</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Work closely with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Warehouse to resolve quality issues.</li>
<li>Support supplier quality activities if needed (supplier audit, material issues, incoming quality).</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>6. Training &amp; Team Support</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Train and guide QC inspectors on inspection methods, quality standards, and improvements.</li>
<li>Enhance quality awareness among employees through training or briefings.</li>
</ul>
