We're hiring: Head of Supply Chain

Our client: One of Malaysia's leading aluminium manufacturers in the region

What you will be doing:

・Planning and control of plant wide production to meet business target
・Work towards achieving all KPI target ( OTD, Production, shipment, etc)
・Total control of all production related activities including machine major shutdown plan, OT, Metal requirement ( ingot, hardener, etc)

・Make prompt actions or decision on metal inventory if there is big changes in term of demand and supply. Closely monitor the daily material flow and make prompt actions or decision on metal inventory if there is big changes in term of demand and supply
・Closely monitor the daily material flow and make necessary actions to ease the situation if there is unto wards event happened
・Continuous effort to reduce production lead time, hence reducing inventory and costs
・Coach, train and guide all planning staffs to plan in the most profitable manner (reducing waste)
・Working on manual system (without any planning and scheduling tools ) for maximizing equipment’s utilization. Managing day to day changes /shortfall in order to meet the production and shipment target.
・Other duties that assign by Manager from time to time
・Managing urgent request or changes from customer – with minimal cost incurred.
・Managing inventory - Keep inventory to the lowest level without jeopardizing the supply.
・To ensure no scrap are sitting idle in the plant, carrying out physical check on monthly basis.
・Salvage all HFI material with all means.
・Achieving high on time delivery rate – facing issues from quality, productivity & reliability
・Instill high efficiencies and quality work in the department.
・Making final decision regards to the best options for the whole company in order to achieve the planned target and objectives.

Job Requirements

What you need:

 ・At least 15 Year(s) and above of working experience in the field of Production Planning / Production Control / Supply Chain
・Possess over 5 years of experience in managerial level

Advantages:
・Possess at least Diploma/Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering (Others), Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
・Candidate from Aluminum / Metal industry has advantage
