Job Description

The ideal candidate is responsible for developing and implementing a supply strategy that delivers the lowest total cost and maximizes customer satisfaction through world class service.

Responsibilities

1. Manage the overall demand planning, SOP and KPI requirement for local and import ordering to ensure optimal stockholding & timely replenishment to all distribution centers.
2. Monitoring and proposing changes to stock parameters considering MOQ and safety stock.
3. Manage promotional inventory requirements and seasonal changes to the inventory holdings.
4. Establish strong working relationship with Merchandising, Operation, Space and Range, Marketing and others dept.
5. Review and follow up with buyer, suppler and warehouse team on ordering and delivery window to warehouse.
6. Interact with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of stock to warehouse.
7. Maintain good working relationship with various freight forwarders.
8. Import Operations: Monitoring pipeline report, review & revise forecast with Buyer, follow up with forwarding agent on incoming shipment and custom related issue.
9. Develop & achieve supply chain strategies + KPIs and participate on SCM monthly performance review with management.
10. To coach, mentor, motivate and develop the supply chain team members.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree ideally in Supply Chain Management, statistics or any related field.
• Language: Chinese (preferable able to speak fluently and understand Chinese), Malay and English
• Minimum 3 yrs working experience in supply & demand planning, analytics, data, insights and strategy.
• Strong analysis skill and project management.
• Commercial knowledge would be an added advantage.
• Advance Microsoft office skills, SQL and/or other business intelligence (eg : tableau/Power BI)
