Job Roles

 • Lead and oversee daily powder press production activities to ensure compliance with quality standards and production schedules.
• Perform and supervise machine setup, die setup, and changeovers to support production requirements and minimize downtime.
• Handle and maintain tools and dies, ensuring proper storage, inspection, and readiness for production use.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to powder press machines, tooling, and processes.
• Optimize powder pressing parameters (e.g., compaction pressure, cycle time, density control) to improve productivity and reduce defects.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for production defects and implement corrective/preventive measures.
• Collaborate with maintenance for regular servicing, calibration, and repairs of powder press machines and tooling.
• Support new process development, tooling trials, and material qualifications.
• Prepare and maintain accurate production documentation, process control sheets, and technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and support to operators in tool and die handling and machine setting.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (quality, engineering, R&D) to achieve production targets and drive continuous improvement initiatives. 


Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials/Metallurgical Engineering, or related field.
• Min. 2 years’ experience in a powder press production environment.
• Hands-on experience in tool and die handling as well as machine setup and setting for powder press operations.
